I haven’t posted a blog in a while, just because I have been incredibly busy! This past Spring I was working on removing things from my creative To-Do list, and as summer approached new opportunities and projects sprang up in their place. Here’s a brief rundown of recent and future projects;
San Diego Comic Con – Friday July 19th I will be attending SDCC as a member of their All-Star Comic Creator Connection Panel! This opportunity came about following some work I did with writer Ajani Brown, a writer I met in 2013 at Wondercon in Anaheim, CA and have been collaborating with on works ever since. Our most recent work which will be featured at SDCC is for sale as a digital download on the Dabu Doodles Shop, and the Panel takes place Friday, July 19th at 5pm (details here!)
Hearts of Reality – From August 8th – 10th I will be at the Hearts of Reality event in Celebration Florida. This event which benefits and incredible nonprofit resort hosts a who’s-who of reality tv contestants and personalities from Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, and more. I’ve had the pleasure of attending this event for years, and am excited to be attending again! Details a list of who will be there are found on their website here.
Survivor NSFW T-shirt – I recently created an original artwork for the NSFW Survivor Podcast with Jonny FairPlay and Matt Bischoff! Prints and tShirts are available on their website and eBay pages, more details on their NSFW Website.
More Outsider Interviews on the way, including a recent talk with Team Liquid’s “SephirothKen” Ken Hoang on eSports. Past episodes of Outsider Interviews are on the Dabu Doodles YouTube Channel.
Survivor Specialists – I wanted to discuss an interesting fan-theory I had heard years ago on who deserves to win Survivor with input from the Survivor Specialists. I will post this as well on the Dabu Doodles YouTube Channel once filmed – The Survivor Specialists have a great YouTube channel as well.
More Comic Projects in the works, including the Seed of Sam and a dark take on the Wizard of Oz, which I am hoping to release on Instagram this fall.
Thanks for following along, and a big thank you to everyone who subscribed to the Dabu Doodles Youtube Channel in the past couple months! It helps when people subscribe, and motivates me to create more content and videos. Please comment here if there’s anything else you’d like to know or see in an upcoming video, blog or project.
